Jess + Nick | Homemade Brews and I Do's

Jess and Nick are the epitome of love at first sight...or should I say email. They are the proof that online dating not only works, but can truly find a person's soulmate. Jess and Nick shared their first date shortly after the sparks flew online. That first date was certainly memorable; a boiling hot day at the Baltimore Harbor in July, a broken elevator in a 7 story parking garage, and a first kiss that sealed their fate. After that kiss there was no turning back. They both knew that nothing would ever be the same, that they belonged together. Nick says, "love didn’t bloom between us, it exploded into being." They were told over and over, 'don’t rush, take it slow, just let things happen,' but it was no surprise that 8 months later on a cool, windy night overlooking the creek, Nick summoned all his courage and asked Jess to be his wife.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Jess and Nick taking their engagement photos at the very creek that Nick proposed and was delighted to be a part of their wedding day. I loved their modern vintage wedding; the soft purple and beige color scheme was unique and simply perfect! There were so many beautiful personal touches. From walking their dog, Jacoby, down the aisle and the game room man cave to the homemade 'I Do Brew' and the sewn-on heart on Jess's wedding gown made from her mom and grandmother's wedding gowns. You can tell that these women mean the world to Jess and it brought tears to my eyes when I saw Jess with her grandmother. I was so happy for both of them that she was able to make it to the wedding.

The entire day was beautiful and romantic. Jess and Nick's personal vows were perfect and the love they share for one another radiates for miles. I wish them luck and lots of love in their future! I am honored to have their memories captured and to share their love with everyone.
